Tried re-installing the graphic card again, tried different cable connections to the monitor, tried reading every single word from the users manual, but no luck.

Have had no issues with my old but this one seems a bit harder to tackle. GTX green logo glows fine, no weird sounds, beeps or whatoever.

What else can I try if I can't see anything at all when turning the computer on? Re: Brand new GTX installed and When you said tried different cable connections, do you mean the ports on the GPU or different cables?

Make sure you're running the latest motherboard bios. I have 2 hdmi cables. Tried them both and plugged them to the only hdmi port on the graphic card. I don't have DVI, or port connector compatible cables, but I am pretty sure the ones I am using works.

One of them is the hdmi cable from the HTC Vive which I've connected from the card to the monitor just to give a try. Do you have another monitor to try?

Unfortunetely no, but my monitor worked well just before starting installing the new gpu. Superclocked Member. Just to rule out every cause - can you provide a photo of the wiring inside your case? Oh, and some additional Information would help as well. Power Supply? Is the mainboard Firmware up2date?

You can use the intel gpu but make sure that your primary display is running out of the nvidia card. This is because the primary card is the one that handles the processing.

There are no disadvantages and the same method is used in laptops where you can switch between intel and dedicated gpu while using the same ports. I'm not sure about this :"This is because the primary card is the one that handles the processing.

Are you sure about this, I know similar things can happen in a laptop with optimus, but they share some physical hardware, and both cards pass final textures to the same memory space to be output. I dont have the hardware to test right now.

If you do not use the 'shared opengl resources' you should be able to utilize both cards are you are planning. With this option active, you may run into problems. One thing that may be a problem either way is using Controls like the Monitor control and especially the Stage preview control. The only way around it is to use a motherboard with a seperate single output.

Which limits you on the motherboards you can use as most of the super high end MOBO's do not have integrated graphics. I don't mind not being able to send a video to multiple cards, i can split the load accordingly. If avoiding this and avoiding stage previews can leave me with full performance on the outputs I'll be fine. Maybe mark can answer. I got some unclear answers about nvidia support from MST hubs, I'll test one out with a later this month and see what happens. They can support higher resolutions however using a hub on a DisplayPort would be limited to that ports bandwidth so the maximum resolution on the card's port would have to be split between the ports on the hub.

BTW this is pretty much the method D3 uses to get 16 outputs from the W fire pro card, but they have specially made modules. Loading More Posts 8 Posts. Reply Reply as topic.Join us now!

It isn't even new to PC gaming, as some of the oldest games with HDR using simple bloom effects date back to the Valve Source engine early s.

Those apps, however, used the limited bit 8-bit per color, This includes support for bit and bit HVEC video decoding at resolutions of up to 4K 60 Hz, or video encoding at bit for the same resolution. We have professional grade monitors at work that I was referring to. Some systems run the Quadro cards, others the 'normal' cards. It works on the 'normal' cards as well.

Its the latest. I have checked for that issue, but I fail to see how that would affect my ability to see the bios menu.

Which I cant with the graphics card in. Which monitor or TV are you using? And which cable are you using to connect your system to it? Why do you think the monitor makes a difference? I didnt find anything in the specs when i bought it that it wouldnt be suitable for certain monitors.

Is this a possibility? Ok, now that you've mentioned the monitor. Im finding out about incompatibility with freesync etc. Dont seem to be many supporting monitors. Now thinking ive bought a dud card. Good question-- previously, NV cards were limited to 4 simultaneous outputs. Nobody knows if Pascal is limited in the same way. You could use a displayport hub or displayport chaining, if you don't use NV surround for gaming.GeForce GTX graphics cards are the most advanced ever created.

Dispersion Fan Blade has a steeper curved blade which accelerates the airflow, increasing its effectiveness. Traditional Fan Blade pushes down a steady airflow to the massive heatsink below. They also remain virtually silent while spinning under load, keeping your graphics card cool during intense and lengthy gaming sessions.

First introduced in by MSI, ZeroFrozr technology has made its mark and is now the industry standard among graphics cards. It eliminates fan noise by stopping the fans in low-load situations. This means you can focus on gaming without the noise of spinning fans.

Each LED can be controlled individually by choosing any of the animation effects availiable in the MSI Gaming App, ranging from responding to your game sounds or music to steady light, breathing and flashing. Of course, you can also turn them off. Lurking under the cover of the GAMING graphics card is an engineering masterpiece designed to keep the graphics card cool.

The special deflectors on the heat sink enlarge the surface area, which means lower temperatures and better gaming. Up to 8mm thick copper heat pipes with a smooth squared shape at the bottom maximize heat transfer from the surface of the copper base plate. The base plate catches the heat from the GPU and transfers it to the heat pipes for dissipation so you can keep cool. A tailored PCB design higher performance and extra cooling comes with an extra 6-pin connector to allow for overclocking beyond the limits.

A powerful graphics card needs a strong build to harness its performance. This prevents unnecessary blocking of PCI slots on your motherboard, is better for SLI setups and improves overall airflow through the case. Gaming enthusiasts are always looking for more performance to get the ultimate experience.

Using multiple graphics cards in SLI or Crossfire is a great way to find out just how good it gets.
